Happy National Cookie Day!

Celebrated each year on Dec. 4, the holiday is a culinary commemoration not just for Cookie Monster but for all the fans of varied crumbly confections.

And this year is no different, with a number of national brands and restaurants getting in on the action and offering consumers a number of yummy deals and freebies to choose from on Thursday.

Corner Bakery

On Thursday, guests at any of the participating locations of the chain’s cafes can snag a cookie for just $1. “National Cookie Day gives us the perfect opportunity to bring joy to our guests with a simple, sweet treat,” Erin Hasselgreen, president of Corner Bakery Cafe, said via press release. “Our fresh-baked cookies are a guest favorite and have become part of many sweet traditions, from afternoon pick-me-ups to holiday gifts.”

Crumbl

The cookie company is leaning into the 6-7 meme by offering consumers the chance to buy a six-pack in stores, where they will get their 7th treat free. Additionally, a limited number of 6-7 stickers will be available for the first 100 customers at each Crumbl location.

Dairy Queen

The fast food chain known for its blizzards are offering DQ rewards members the chance to celebrate the holiday all week long with $3 off any small blizzard treat between Dec. 1 and Dec. 7. Additionally, customers can get a free mini frosted sugar cookie blizzard treat with the purchase of a signature stackburger combo or six-piece chicken strip basket.

Dunkin’

Dunkin’ rewards members can take advantage of the national holiday by earning 3 times the points on all espresso drinks, including the new cookie butter cloud latte.

Insomnia Cookies

Amid its milestone opening of its 350th bakery this year, the national cookie chain is getting in on the action with a limited-edition cookie drop. This year, the first 100 Insomnia rewards members at any participating bakery can get a free snowball classic cookie. Additionally, up to 350 “Insomniacs” have the chance to win free cookies for a year if they find a purple-filled snowball classic cookie.

Jimmy John’s

The famous JJs is serving up some holiday magic with their cookie offering. With any digital order of $5 or , guests can get a free newly-released holiday magic cookie. “The holidays are meant for slowing down, savoring the moment, and treating yourself and those you care for,” Kelly na, Director of Category Management at Jimmy John’s, said via press release. “Together with M&M’S®, we’ve baked up a cookie that’s as fun and festive as the season itself, packed with vibrant color, joy, and a touch of holiday magic.”

Milk Bar

Milk Bar is giving away limited-edition McCormick x Milk Bar eggnog English toffee cookies for free at select locations in New York City. The first 100 customers will get one cookie each.

Nestlé Toll House

Like it did earlier this fall, the brand is giving away free cookie taco kits online for a limited time only while supplies last. The kits come complete with Nestlé Toll House chocolate chip cookie dough roll, semi-sweet chocolate morsels, a taco stand and a $25 gift card for additional ingredients.

Pepperidge Farm

According to FoodBeastthe company is offering consumers the chance to send someone a free cookie gram. If chosen, the recipient will receive two bags of Pepperidge Farm’s chessmen and milano mint chocolate cookies as well as a personalized note.
