Mohamed Salah has been linked to Saudi Arabia once again, while Alisson‘s contract option has been discussed on the eve of Liverpool’s fixture against Sunderland.

Saudi Arabia committed to signing Mo Salah

Ever since transfers to Saudi Arabia became a lucrative option, Salah has been linked with a move seemingly ineverytransfer window that goes by.

It is no different now, just months on from signing a contract extension at Liverpool, as according to talkSPORT‘s Alex Crook, “Saudi deal-makers remain committed to recruiting” Salah “at some point.”

The “at some point” is a crucial line as it is no secret his deal at Anfield expires in 2027, nor that the player himself did consider the move an option if he had not agreed a new contract.

Crook claims that Al Hilal are still believed to be “a leading contender,” but that Al-Qadsiah “have also expressed interest,” with an attempt to land Salah next summer not entirely ruled out.

It would seem unlikely, but Liverpool are coming to the stage where they need to think of life beyond their Egyptian, though you would assume only a lucrative offer would turn their heads.
