The Hamptons home of Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin has been torn to shreds by an acid-tongued social media user, who described it as looking like they ‘ran out of money’ during the decorating process.

The couple, who wed in 2012, spend their summers in the sprawling 11,000-square-foot estate which the father-of-eight purchased for $1.75 million in 1995.

The home consists of five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, and even has a library, a playroom and a large pool.

Weighing in on the interiors on Instagram, internet personality Dan Mahboubian Rosen branded it ‘boring’ and ‘lacking in personality’ in his scathing analysis.

Beginning his no-holds-barred take, he said: ‘How does someone with so much money like Alec Baldwin live in a place like this?

‘It looks like they ran out of money doing set decoration for a Hallmark holiday film.

‘There’s nothing here. Did they get a Groupon to Pottery Barn? Everything is boring.’

Inspecting the living room, Rosen said it looked like a space where Barbara Bush would come to play bridge.

‘Why are the lights in jail?’ he asked of the light fixtures. ‘Free the lights!’

Turning his attention to a painting of Hilaria in a bodega, he said it was the ‘only’ thing in the home with ‘personality.’

‘It’s like pop art pastiche that maybe they hired Adrien Brody to paint,’ he joked, referring to Brody’s divisive artwork.

Rosen, who has over 200,000 followers on Instagram, had a particular issue with the home being so exceptionally tidy, especially given that the Baldwins are parents to seven children.

‘They have like 42 kids, there’s no way everything is this ordered and neat,’ he exaggerated. ‘This house is a mess, show us the mess!’

Perhaps Rosen’s worse assessment, however, was of one of the couple’s seven bathrooms which he likened to mayonnaise thanks to its all-white interior.

‘At least aioli, at least some spice,’ he suggested. ‘Like what was on the mood board, a set of veneers?’

The only space Rosen appeared to like was the jungle gym outside.

‘I’m being completely honest with you right now, this jungle gym has personality than the whole home,’ he noted.

‘I would live in this jungle gym rather than the house.’

Rosen’s video ignited a huge response on social media and even caught the attention of the couple themselves.

Clearly hurt by the scathing assessment of his home, Baldwin, 67, commented: ‘Why don’t you go away?’

His wife Hilaria, 41, however, appeared to be able to take the critique in her stride and simply replied with a crying laughing emoji.

Baldwin has put the home up for sale in the past, but at the time of writing it is off the market.

He first put the house on the market in September 2022 for $29 million.

In January 2023, the price was cut down to $24.9 million, before it dropped again to $22.5 million in March 2023.

In the recorded a promo video, Baldwin previously said of the property: ‘I fell in love with this place the moment I came here… you just can’t get this out here any , you can’t buy big pieces of land.

‘I love it in the wintertime because it’s so peaceful and it’s so beautiful.’
