Inter Takes Advantage Of The Stumble Of Milan And Napoli And Jumps To The Top Of The Italian League

German Jan Pesek scored Inter Milan’s lead in the sixth minute, Argentine Lautaro Martinez added the second goal in the 38th minute, then Portuguese Vitinha reduced the gap for Genoa in the 68th minute.

Inter jumped to the top of the standings, taking advantage of its rivals’ stumble, after its neighbor Milan tied earlier today with Sassuolo 2-2, while Napoli lost to Udinese with an unanswered goal.

Inter Milan raised its score to 33 points in first place, one point ahead of runner-up Milan, and two points ahead of third-placed Napoli.

On the other hand, Genoa’s balance froze at 14 points in 16th place.
