The Arizona Cardinals, New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans have all been eliminated from NFL playoff contention after suffering defeats in Week 13.
The Cardinals were beaten 20-17 away at the Tampa Bay Buccaneersleaving them rock bottom of the NFC West with a 3-9 record, while the now 2-10 Saints are also at the foot of the NFC South after a 21-17 loss at the Miami Dolphins.
As for the Titans, the basement boys of the AFC South, their miserable season continued with a 25-3 drubbing at home to the Jacksonville Jaguars that has left them 1-11.
A fourth NFL franchise could also be dumped out of playoff contention later on Sunday, with the vegas Raiders in need of a win over the Los Angeles Chargers to keep their faint hopes alive.
