Kate Beckinsale and Michael Sheen’s no baby daughter Lily Sheen is following in the footsteps of her famous actor parents.

Born in 1999, the 26-year-old has already made a name for herself appearing alongside A-list talent such as Adam Sandler, Christopher Walkenand Jonah Hill.

Lily was introduced to the world of film when she was a little girl and had her first cameo roles in 2006 when she appeared alongside her famous mom in both Underworld: Evolution and Click.

Three years later, in 2009, she popped up in the Kirk Jones film Everybody’s Fine, which starred Robert De Niro, Drew Barry and her mother once again.

Lily landed her first big role in the feature film at the age of 22, when she starred in The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent (2022) alongside Nicolas Cage and Pedro Pascal.

Described as an action comedy, the movie saw Nicolas play a fictionalized version of himself, who was struggling with Hollywood career. Lily played his on-screen daughter, Addy.

In the lead up to the movie’s release, Lily gushed about working alongside Nicolas and made a point about speaking about his kindness in interviews.

‘I’d been a fan since I was a little kid, so I had all these expectations and these hopes and he completely blew them out of the water,’ she told Pop Sugar at the time.

‘He was phenomenal, as a man and as an actor.’

Lily also noted that while she was worried about messing up on the set of the film, the cast and the crew were all supportive and helped her feel confident.

‘I felt very safe amongst the unity on the set, to be able to kind of test out things and take risks and look stupid, which is really important in a movie that’s so fun and light-hearted,’ she added to the publication.

While Lily has largely made cameos in her mother’s projects, she appeared once beside her dad in one episode of his television series, Staged, which was filmed and set during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The show, which ran for three seasons, saw Michael and long-time collaborator David Tennant play fictionalized versions of themselves.

Lily was born four years after her parents met on a touring production of Anton Chekhov’s play The Seagull.

English actress Kate, 52, has starred in huge movies including Pearl Harbor (2001), The Aviator (2004), and Click (2006), while Michael, 56, is an esteemed Welsh actor on both stage and screen.

The couple eventually split in 2002 after seven years together.

Despite going their separate ways, Kate has made it clear in the past that she and Michael are on great terms.

She said previously: ‘I love Michael, Michael’s fantastic.

‘It shouldn’t necessarily have gone on and on forever with us, but he is one of my absolutely favorite people ever.’

As for her own personal life, Lily’s mother confirmed that her daughter is in a relationship, although kept details of his identity private.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this week, she made the wild claim that Lily’s boyfriend naturally laid two eggs in recent months.

After Kate talked about the grief of losing her mother, Judy Loe, in July after a battle with cancer, and losing her stepfather, Roy Battersby, in January 2024, she shared the strange anecdote.

Kate said: ‘We’ve had a tough couple of years, both my parents passed away within the last few years, and literally the only bright spot in the whole time came from him.

‘He laid two eggs in a week, is what the bright spot was.’

When asked to clarify who laid an egg, Kate insisted that her daughter’s boyfriend did and that he produced an egg from his body that ‘had a shell and a yolk’.

She added: ‘He went to the bathroom and then was very surprised to find that he had laid an egg.

‘I got very involved in this, because I really did need a distraction because everything was so horrible.’

After the TV appearance, which viewers watching at home admitted was ‘the strangest, yet funniest, interview I’ve ever seen’, Kate posted on Instagram, sharing a sweet throwback photo of her and Lily, 26, hugging.

‘Sorry for everything. I love you and always have than anything in the wide world,’ Kate captioned the snap, which she has since deleted.

Kate has previously spoken about the shocking resemblance she and her daughter share.

‘Sometimes I’ll send her a text saying “get your own face!” She’s like a better version. She’s got something that I don’t,’ she said in 2023.

‘She looks like this gorgeous Disney animal — she’s got these giant eyes.

‘I think probably (Michael) helped with that a bit — but she’s very much herself.’

Lily has two half siblings on her dad’s side from his marriage to Swedish actress Anna Lundberg.
