He continued: “It was also decided to impose a fine on Zamalek Club worth 100,000 pounds, for the collective insults from its fans in the semi-final match against Pyramids.”
He added: “It was also decided to impose a fine on Al-Ahly Club worth 100,000 pounds, for the collective insults of its fans in the final match against Zamalek, and to punish Ahmed Mostafa Mohamed Sayed (Zizou), the Al-Ahly club player, and Juan Alvina Bezerra, the Zamalek player, with a fine worth 50,000 pounds each, for not adhering to the protocol for the coronation ceremony.”
Al-Ittihad continued in its statement: “It was decided to suspend Kronoslav Jurcic, the coach of the Pyramids team, for one match and fine him ten thousand pounds, due to his expulsion and refusal to object during the match to determine the third and fourth places against Ceramica Cleopatra.”
It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly won the Egyptian Super Cup for the 16th time in its history, after defeating its traditional rival, Zamalek, with two unanswered goals in the final match that was held last Sunday.
