The Israeli army announced on Sunday morning that it will implement a “tactical pause” in military operations in some areas in Gaza, Avichay Adraee, the spokesperson of the army, said.
“The pause will begin in the areas where the IDF (Israeli military) is not operating: Al-Mawasi, Deir el-Balah, and Gaza City, every day until further notice,” Adraee posted in a statement on his official X account.
The tactical suspension of military operations in the chosen areas will last from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (local time).
The army spokesperson said: “We confirm that the fighting will not stop except in the designated areas, and the Defense Army will continue its operations, clearing and neutralizing the areas it operates in from terrorist infrastructure and terrorist elements. “
The army will also organize safe routes for the passage of humanitarian aid trucks into the strip, the army revealed via Telegram.
On the other hand, Egyptian media said that 25 Emirati and several Egyptian aid trucks have entered Gaza via Rafah crossing, carrying food and infrastructure supplies.
